Feb-Reverie: 19th February 2023

After 3 years we returned to Mazda Hall for a live piano recital with more than 30 performers and music based on the theme of reveries, dreams, and fantasies.

Hosted by our teacher Ajey Deshpande, the recital was supported by more than 200 audience members and the evening ended with an audience interactive medley.

Merry Merry Christmas: 15th December 2022

Studio Meraki hosted its first Christmas recital at a new venue- Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Auditorium, Ghole Road.

With traditional and modern carols, winter-themed music, a Christmas quiz, and community carol singing with a surprise visit by Santa, this evening was full of the festive spirit to welcome the holiday season!

Interactive session pianist Robert Piéchaud: 12th November, 2022

Students and staff attended a session and interacted with French pianist Robert Piéchaud who spoke about classical improvisation and composing music for films.

The event was organised by the Poona Music Society in association with Alliance Française.

Get Your Act Together: 3rd July, 2022

After a 2 year pandemic break, our first offline recital celebrated the joy of creating music together. More than 60 performers played duets and trio arrangements of classical, original and popular music with other Studio members, friends, siblings and parents!

Get Your Act Together Online: 17th and 18th September 2022

Our online recital gave our students from the United States of America, United Kingdom and Australia an opportunity to perform their favourite pieces for their friends and family.

A French Affair: 5th-9th August 2022

A 5 day Course exploring French Melodies and other repertoire was conducted in Mumbai by world-renowned Soprano and Vocal teacher Patricia Rozario, assisted by Minaish Doctor and accompanied by Sonam Lodhi.

Singers from around the country attended the workshop to improve their vocal technique and work on their repertoire with a special emphasis on French music.

The Day He Wore My Crown: May- June 2022

The Stop Gaps Cultural Academy, conducted by Alfred J. D’Souza, performed ‘The Day He Wore My Crown- The Resurrection Story in Songs’ accompanied by Sonam Lodhi in churches in Mumbai and Pune. The 45-minute-long work is written and created by David T. Clydesdale.
